FAQs
What
to Wear
Simplicity is best.
Solid colors are recommended. Avoid wearing clothes with large patterns
and bright colors as they draw attention away from the face.
Long sleeves work better than short, other than on small children.
Shoes and socks should complement your outfit - light with light clothing,
dark with dark clothing.
If you are not sure of your clothing selection, please bring several choices
and we will help you decide.
While cute, children's play clothes detract attention from the children
themselves. Choose clothing styles that are timeless.
Other
Helpful Hints
REST - Get plenty of rest the night before your portrait session. If your
appointment is early in your day, get up well before your session so you
don't look like you just woke up.
HAIR - Don't change styles or get a fresh haircut just before your session.
Make sure your hair is the way you like it and styled the way you feel
most comfortable.
TANS - Tans look great, but don't over do it. Watch out for tan lines
with your clothing selection.
SPECIAL INTERESTS - Bring items that reflect your personality and special
interests; sports equipment, hobby items, most anything goes and can add
your special personality into your portrait.
